Henri Bayemi

Henri Bayemi (affectionately known as Papa Henri) was born on April 11, 1960 in Matomb (Cameroon), from Mr. Bayemi Charles and Mrs. Ngo Pougue Marthe. He is the 2nd born of a family of 5 children (4 boys and 1 girl). After his degree in zoology obtained at the University of Yaounde I, he began his professional career in 1984 at the Agricultural Research Institute for Development (IRAD). Four years later, he married Ms. Poufon Ekoue Judith and both are currently the parents of five (05) children.

Mr. Bayemi holds a Master of Science in Animal Science from the University of Reading in England. After a PhD degree at the University of Pretoria in South Africa, he was promoted to Research Director at IRAD and held the position of Director of Valorization and Innovation at the same institute.

As a Roman Catholic, he founded in 1996 the Movement of the Incarnation (the Word of God groups), an Ecclesial Movement spread over 4 continents in more than 16 countries and became the first General Manager. The spirituality of this Movement is to live the Word of God. Author of more than 50 publications in international scientific journals, he and his wife have also written several spiritual meditations in catholic journals and published several booklets on marriage.
